Details: This is a wonderful example of a hand-painted enamel dog portrait. a sentimental tradition made popular during the Victorian era. This pendant features the sweetest English Foxhound with a diamond eye- in profile framed by an open metal work setting with four old cut diamonds. The dog is painted with painstaking detail down to his markings and red collar. We love this old world piece worn on a modern chain and lock by Marla Aaron.
